Core 2000 Words ("the App") respects your privacy. By using the App you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

The App runs fully offline and does not collect, transmit, or store any personally identifiable information. This includes (but is not limited to):

• Name, email, phone number, address
• Device identifiers, advertising identifiers
• Location data
• Contacts, photos, calendar
• Browsing or behavioral data

1. On-Device Data

The App stores the following data locally in the iOS app sandbox to support learning progress, spaced repetition, bookmarks, and settings:

• Learning progress, review records, bookmarked words
• Preferences (dark mode, playback speed, etc.)
• Trial start date and purchase status

This data is used only by the App on this device. Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all of it.

1. Microphone & Speech Recognition

The "Recording Practice" feature requires microphone access and Apple's on-device speech recognition:

• Recordings are stored only on your device, used for instant scoring, and can be deleted immediately after
• Speech recognition is performed by iOS; the recognized text is only used to compare against the target word
